Edijs from lä has baked an article about HTC Desire HD phone. The article is very good, but I wouldn’t be so interested if Eddie didn’t talk about this phone compared to the iPhone 4.

What is interesting is not a comparison in essence, type one better than another, but a pure user’s view of everyday functions and feelings. I agree with a lot in the article, I see a lot differently.

Let me remind you that I am the owner of both iPhone 4 and Desire. I also do development for both of these platforms. I still see the iPhone 4 as a more productive platform for both everyday and specific tasks , but I also see places where the Android OS is much more powerful. I would have a lot to say about both of these platforms, but I am disgusted to see silly comparative discussions of parameters, where each “front” screams without any arguments, understanding, knowledge and experience of the other platform. Eddy’s article, in my opinion, is not like that.

Either well. Maybe not quite “everything”, but in any case I wanted to share my first impressions, because I am also one of the new owners of the iPhone. There may be many things I will rethink or learn anew, but one very strong opinion of this phone has definitely formed for me already now.

To put it very briefly, it is the best gadget I have ever held in my hands. And it’s not because I would be any passionate Apple fan just for fanaticism. I think I judge quite rationally and by what I have received when buying this phone.

And before I continue, it seems to me that this record will be quite long, so if someone reads beyond these lines, you can calmly climb up to the coffee pot and fill it with an empty cup standing next to the monitor.

Apple has taken another step closer to releasing the iPhone SDK: on March 6, some meetings are planned to discuss the future development of iPhone software. It is not known whether the SDK for developers will be launched on the same date or at a later date.
